R1. Stade Pontivyen-Auray, Sunday (3:30 p.m.)
Q: Your physique is surprising in this position, what do you think?
A: It’s true that I don’t have the typical qualities to be a full-back, my preferred position is actually center-back, but honestly I’m having a blast on the side this season. As long as I’m playing and enjoying myself, that’s all that matters.
Q: How is the offensive side going for you?
A: Normally, I’m happy with one goal per season. This year, between the cup and the league, I have scored five. If I can rank well in the top scorers, I won’t hold back. Seriously, we put a lot of work into positioning on set pieces and it’s paying off.
Q: With six games left and one point behind the leader La Montagne, what is your mindset?
A: We’re gearing up for six back-to-back weekends, between the league and the semi-final of the Brittany cup. In the league, we need to string together wins (especially at home, against main rivals La Montagne and Plabennec). We’ll see where we stand in the end. It’s a dream end to the season. After the setback against Plougastel, we got back on track. Our fate is in our hands.
