AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D 10-Year AM4 Anniversary Edition in retail box: slightly revised packaging, same chip inside
The return of the Ryzen 7 5800X3D is very real and approaching. After an unexpected disappearance last year, the edition is confirmed with the discovery of its commercial box, validating the 10-Year AM4 Anniversary edition.
The information comes from leaker @9550pro, who reveals the appearance of the Ryzen 7 5800X3D 10-Year AM4 Anniversary box. The design remains very close to the original, with an Anniversary marking at the bottom. Side datesmarketing would target Q2 2026, which leaves the door open to an announcement at any time.

The Ryzen 7 5800X3D 10-Year AM4 Anniversary takes up the technical sheet of the original model: Zen 3 architecture, 8 cores/16 threads, boost frequency up to 4.5 GHz, and 96 MB of L3 cache. First Ryzen equipped with 3D V-Cache, it uses a cache chiplet stacked to go from 32 to 96 MB of L3.
With this configuration, the 5800X3D easily dominated the higher placed Ryzen 5000s in jeux and rivaled the Ryzen 7000 series. At 1080p, it remains particularly relevant when paired with GPU high end. And like the prix of DDR5 remain high, the AM4 platform in DDR4 still has good years ahead of it.
