Despite testimonies from about fifteen women accusing him of sexual assault and rape, Patrick Bruel remains focused. The French singer will start the tour celebrating the 35th anniversary of his album “Alors regarde” in Europe before performing in Quebec in November and December.

Published yesterday at 5:32 PM, the “Alors regarde 35” tour is set to begin on June 16 in Paris and will stop at L’Olympia in Montreal from November 27 to 29, then at the Capitole in Quebec from December 3 to 5. Tickets for these concerts are almost sold out.

His press attaché in Quebec, Narimane Doumandji, confirmed in a brief statement to La Presse that the concerts will go on as planned. However, despite this, about fifty artists, collectives, and feminist associations have launched a petition calling for the cancellation of all 57 tour dates in France, Belgium, Switzerland, and Canada.

Although Bruel claims his innocence, the petition’s supporters, including actresses Anna Mouglalis and Corinne Masiero, argue that his ongoing performances pose a challenge for the legal process to proceed impartially. Recent investigations by Mediapart and Elle have brought to light allegations from multiple women, leading to at least five ongoing legal investigations in France and Belgium.

At 66 years old, Bruel maintains his innocence, stating that he has never crossed any boundaries or forced anyone into any sexual activity.
