The first long feature film by Simon Helloco, titled “Les Neiges de Grenade,” is set to be filmed between August and September 2026 with the support of Bretagne Cinéma. The director is currently seeking a specific profile to complete the cast for an important role in the film. They are looking for a boy aged between 6 (turning 9 on August 1, 2026) with dark eyes and fair skin. The production specifies a preference for candidates residing in Bretagne or Île-de-France.
No prior acting experience is required for the casting of “Les Neiges de Grenade.” The film tells the story of Hugo, in his thirties, waiting for his parents Andrée and Nathalie, retired workers living in a remote village in Bretagne. However, only André, deeply moved and silent, disembarks from the plane while Nathalie is absent. Instead, she left a VHS tape for her son, revealing a life secret dating back to spring 1997. The boy chosen will play the role of young Hugo in the film.
Casting sessions will take place in Bretagne and Paris starting April 2026, with no acting experience necessary. If your child fits the profile, you can submit an email to Manon Garnier including recent portrait and full-body photos in natural colors, the child’s name, date of birth, height, city of residence, and parents’ contact number.
