PUBG Mobile Vietnam will win the gold medal at the 2026 Asia Esports Championship

According to the Vietnamese Esports and Entertainment Association (VIRESA), the Vietnamese national team of PUBG Mobile made history on the afternoon of April 26 by winning the gold medal at the 2026 Asia Esports Championships (ECA 2026). This is the most remarkable performance of Vietnamese esports so far this year.

Throughout the tournament, Vietnamese players showed great consistency and precise tactical gameplay. After intense rounds, the team accumulated a total of 127 points. Thanks to this result, Vietnam rose to the top of the medal standings in the PUBG Mobile competition in Asia.

This resounding success was actually expected, as the core of the national team consisted of Team Flash, who had just won the national PMPL VN Spring 2026 tournament. On the national stage, Team Flash demonstrated impressive strength, totaling 271 points and 6 decisive victories (“Chicken Dinner”) in 18 matches. This outstanding performance served as a stepping stone, allowing the players to maintain a high level of enthusiasm and discipline when entering the continental stage.

In particular, the young player Win, who recently won the FMVP title at the PMPL VN Spring with record damage statistics, continued to shine at the ECA 2026. The stability of the main Team Flash lineup allowed Vietnam to become a formidable opponent against all its sizeable rivals in the region.

The Win team had an exceptional tournament, winning the MVP (Most Valuable Player) title. The efforts of the young players were greatly facilitated by the unwavering support of veteran Levis8 (Phan Van Dong). Levis8’s vast experience provided crucial moral support, enabling the entire team to keep their cool in decisive moments.

The final day of the competition was thrilling. The race between Vietnam and South Korea (KRX team) captivated the audience. Although the South Korean team finished first in the overall standings, in accordance with the Korean National Championship regulations (KEL), their results were not included in the official medal standings of ECA 2026.

Seizing the opportunity and now in a fierce pursuit, the Vietnamese national team was officially awarded the prestigious gold medal. This victory solidified Vietnam’s dominant position in the regional PUBG Mobile esports scene.
