For months, the UFAP UNS Justice from the CP de VLM has been advocating for strict adherence to the degraded mode, both in general and during medical extractions.

However, on the ground, the observation remains the same every day: the rules are still too often ignored or adapted in a whimsical manner, as if every decision depended on a cosmic cycle or the influence of a distant galaxy.

Today at VLM, it’s simple – “It will be you, you, and you… and since he doesn’t want to, it will be you!” According to the chief, according to the officer, according to affinities, according to the agents, and sometimes even according to the lunar orbit, the phase of the lunar system or the gravity of a constellation!

The absence of a framework, or the non-compliance with the existing one, leads to unjust, sometimes arbitrary, and often misunderstood decisions, causing difficulties for the institution and the agents, and generating frustration and tensions.

The degraded mode, which should remain an exceptional operation, has become a rule endured daily by the agents. It must be respected by everyone, all the time, regardless of rank, chest color, or wind direction. It protects against arbitrariness, provides an identified operating framework, and serves as a support for everyone to know what to do and how to do it, even in difficult situations.

The UFAP UNS Justice from the CP de VLM demands the publication of a clear memorandum and a uniform framework for the management of medical extractions.
