In Grimaud, in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, the cultural program for April offers a comedy on abuse of power and an Easter workshop for children.

The city of Grimaud has unveiled its cultural agenda for the month of April 2026, highlighting two distinct events that will satisfy both theater enthusiasts and young creative minds. On the program: a humorous comedy on the faults of our society and an artistic workshop to celebrate Easter, both free proposals accessible by reservation.

“Nuit gravement au salut”, a comedy on abuse of power

The cycle “Les Dimanches de la Scène” will welcome, on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at 5:30 p.m., the company Plein Feux for its play entitled “Nuit gravement au salut”. The performance will take place at the Salle Beausoleil. The plot unfolds in the cozy atmosphere of a chic restaurant where Victor Pontier, a publisher with voracious ambitions, has invited Léa Belmont, a talented and rebellious writer.

What started as a simple business meal quickly turns into a ruthless psychological showdown. The publisher is ready to publish the author’s new manuscript, but under a condition that will test her principles. Under the gaze of an atypical but complicit waiter, the evening drifts towards a confrontation where cynicism and dark humor collide.

The play is described as “an intelligent and subtle comedy, with a flamboyant style”. It is a sharp satire on abuse of power, delicately pinpointing the excesses and contradictions of contemporary society. Entry is free, but reservation is essential due to limited seating.

An Easter workshop for young artists

On Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at 3:00 p.m., the Maison des Arcades will turn to the young audience with a special Easter creative workshop. Children are invited to explore the universe of the artist Catherine Arniac by trying their hand at decorating eggs and egg cups.

The goal of this workshop is to introduce the youngest to contemporary art in a playful and accessible way. Through the play of colors, textures, and materials, participants will be able to experiment with different artistic techniques to create their own work. This activity is designed to stimulate imagination, develop powers of observation, and provide a rewarding hands-on experience.

This event is also free and accessible only by prior reservation with the cultural service.
