Riot Games and VALORANT today unveiled Skirmish: Ascension, the next evolution of Skirmish. This new mode features a curated Agent pool with limited abilities, staged weapons, and a competitive ladder powered by the For The Win (FTW) platform. Players can compete in 1v1 and 2v2 queues, each with separate leaderboards. The roster includes a select group of Agents, each equipped with a single ability from their kit, carefully chosen to test game sense and real-time decision-making. Check out more information here.
The new Act also introduces the next iteration of the Kuronami Collection. A direct continuation of the line first released in January 2024, it builds on the same core aesthetic while expanding the offering with new weapons and an all-new melee experience. The collection includes the Phantom, Operator, Ghost, Guardian, and a transforming Kunai melee.
In addition, players can unlock an all-new Battlepass featuring items such as the Keys to Elysium Vandal, Insidious Phantom, Boss Bear Spray, and more.
