President of the Reconquest!
During the first round of the 2022 French presidential election, Eric Zemmour (Reconquête!) gathered 7.07% of the votes cast.
Eric Zemmour is a former editorialist for Figaro and CNews. Her favorite themes are immigration and “the feminization of France”. Convicted in 2011 for provoking racial hatred, in 2018 for provoking religious hatred, he was prosecuted again in 2021, for having described unaccompanied minors as “murderers” and “rapists”. In this latest case, the prosecution requested a fine of 10,000 euros.
Éric Zemmour (born August 31, 1958) is a French politician and polemicist. Since the end of 2021, Éric Zemmour has been a candidate for the 2022 presidential election. He has been a journalist in the written press, such as for the “Quotidien de Paris” or the “Figaro” from 1986 to 2021. Éric Zemmour is known for having been a participant in the shows “Ça se dispute” on ITélé, “On n’est pas couché” on France 2 and “Zemmour et Naulleau” on Paris Premiere during his career at the television. From 2010 to 2016, he was also a columnist on RTL. From 2019 to 2021, he was the main columnist for the show “Face à l’info” on CNews.
He made his debut on the political scene in December 2021 within Reconquête, the party he created. He holds the 2010 Incorrect Book Prize, the 2011 Richelieu Prize and the 2015 Combourg Chateaubriand Prize. He has written numerous books (among others A five-year term for nothing, French destiny et France has not said its last wordpublished in 2021).
Regarding his personal life, he is currently in a relationship with Sarah Knafo. He was the partner of Mylène Chichportich (married from 1982 to 2021).
