After a very successful “Spring of Orchestras” at the end of April in Jarnac, director Grégoire Feybesse aims to “extend this beautiful spirit of collaboration and brotherhood” by mobilizing all 440 students and 22 teachers of the structure.
The initiative will kick off this week with the first of two planned concerts. The Cemali Trio, composed of Lily Richard (cello), Matthieu Sternat (piano), both teachers at the Conservatoire, and Cédric Allard (violin) will perform on Thursday, May 7, at 8:30 pm, at the town hall in Javrezac. The program includes the romantic universe of Chausson’s Piano Trio and the more playful side of Shostakovich’s Russian composer Trio.
The mood changes for the second concert on June 25 (8:30 pm) at the Abattoirs, with a rock trio consisting of Agnès Jacquier (piano teacher on drums), Pauline Josselin (lyrical singing teacher on bass), and Laurent Jacquier (guitar). They will offer timeless titles with rhythm and energy.
These two concerts will be paid (5€), but free for under 12s and minor students of the Conservatoire.
