The Esports World Cup Foundation has confirmed that PUBG Mobile will be the 16th competitive title in the inaugural edition of the Esports Nations Cup 2026. The tournament is scheduled to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from November 2 to November 29, 2026, with PUBG Mobile matches taking place from November 3 to November 8. The event will conclude with a 16-team Grand Final, showcasing some of the best national teams from around the world.
In total, 32 national teams will compete on PUBG Mobile. The competition will begin with a round-robin group stage, divided into four groups of eight teams each. The top four teams from each group will advance to the finals, where they will compete in up to 18 matches under the “Smash rule” points system, determining the final champion.
Team selection for PUBG Mobile at Esports Nations Cup 2026 will follow a combination of rankings, invitations and regional qualifiers. Half of the tournament spots will be awarded via direct invitations, while twelve teams will qualify based on the PUBG Mobile national team rankings. This ranking takes into account performances in major events such as the 2025 World Cup, the 2025 World Championship and the 2026 World Open.
Additionally, four teams will receive special invitations, and the remaining sixteen teams will qualify through regional tournaments as well as two Wildcard spots. The regional qualifiers are scheduled between July 10 and 12, 2026, giving national teams a chance to secure their place in the Grand Final.

At the Esports World Cup 2025, Yangon Galacticos of Myanmar emerged as champions after the incumbent winners, Alpha7 Esports, were eliminated earlier in the tournament.
