The retirement home united around folklore and dances of yesteryear thanks to the Bourreio de Mende

At the beginning of May, the VMEH association (Visit of patients in hospital establishments and residents in nursing homes) went to the Randonneraie, a retirement home in Rieutort-de-Randon, for a festive afternoon, offered to the residents of the establishment.

Regular visits

This recreational moment is in addition to the weekly visits that the elders receive, provided by their two faithful visitors, Viviane and Janine, who are expected every week and warmly welcomed by each of them.
It is also a pleasure to meet Corinne, their facilitator, who spares no effort to ensure that everything goes well, supported by the staff present.

Cabrette and accordion

It was therefore on May 6 that the folkloric group Bourreio de Mende came to delight the vast majority of residents with its dances from another time, interspersed with songs from yesteryear. And to the sound of the accordion and the cabrette, the soufflées and scottishes followed one another for the pleasure of all.

At the end of this performance, the actors, musicians, dancers and singers shared a snack, offered by the VMEH association, with all the participants.
