The defender of AJA, Bryan Okoh, is suffering from a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his knee.

The 22-year-old Swiss was injured this Sunday against Nice, during the 33rd day of Ligue 1. He was injured after several duels at the beginning of the match, and he left the field without showing severe pain. The medical staff initially mentioned a possible sprain of the medial collateral ligament. However, recent tests have ruled out this hypothesis according to team information. The diagnosis is now confirmed: the anterior cruciate ligament is ruptured. Okoh will be absent for several months. His return to competition will not happen until the second half of the 2026-2027 season.
A bad news for Auxerre – Arriving in January from FC Lausanne-Sport, Okoh quickly established himself in the Auxerre defense. He played 13 matches wearing the AJA jersey and scored 3 goals. His injury deprives AJA of a starter for the last match day. It also raises questions about the summer preparation, which the player will not be able to participate in.
