Mode Evolving Universe

The main attraction of the update is the Evolving Universe mode, which transforms multiple battleground zones with a cosmic-inspired theme. This mode introduces new environmental mechanics such as spatio-temporal distortions, dynamic railway systems, racing gameplay features, and redesigned urban areas.

Erangel is the primary map to undergo changes, with several locations updated to include interactive gameplay elements. Furthermore, a popular mode introduced in version 2.1 has made a comeback exclusively on this map.

Other maps have also been updated. Livik now includes changes in locations such as the Music Hall and Racing Club, while Miramar introduces a new racing mini-game. A new gameplay feature called Wilderness Fun has also been added, allowing players to participate in parachute challenges and earn extra rewards.

The thematic mode also introduces a passive skill system, allowing players to choose from five specializations before the match or while on the Spawn Island. These skills can evolve during the game, offering different advantages based on the chosen play style.

Players are also assigned an Energy rank from C to S, which improves through positive gameplay behavior. As players progress, Temporal Chests appear on the map, offering thematic rewards and additional content.

8th Anniversary Celebrations

Version 4.3 also marks the 8th anniversary of PUBG Mobile, accompanied by several events and rewards. As part of these festivities, the game offers a musical collaboration with OneRepublic, featuring the track “LEAN (PUBG MOBILE 2026 Theme Song)”, which players can listen to directly in the game after the update.

The update also introduces a new branding concept called “For Every #1”, celebrating individual achievements in the game, from the first player elimination to memorable squad victories. To support this theme, the game’s user interface has been refreshed, providing sharper visuals and improved navigation.

Anniversary events include collectible card games that unlock rewards such as an upgradable Splendid Assault firearm finish in three levels. Players with an account for seven years can also obtain a special Holo card.

Other anniversary events include the Mythical Forge anniversary event and the Secret Stash event draw. Players can also progress through RPA18 rewards, offering bonuses worth up to 80,000 UC.

Major Collaborations: Jujutsu Kaisen and MrBeast

The update also introduces several collaborations. The anime series Jujutsu Kaisen returns to the game as part of a crossover event running from March 13 to April 12, 2026.

Players can unlock outfits based on characters such as Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, and Satoru Gojo. Additional character content includes Suguru Geto and Ryomen Sukuna, along with items inspired by Choso and Aoi Todo.

The collaboration also introduces cosmetic items such as the Cursed Corpse Buddy Tsukamoto, the Nue Glider, and the Inverted Sky Lance – Machete. Event activities allow players to unlock an exclusive Aoi Todo outfit, along with other cosmetics obtained through prize paths and lucky spins.

Another collaboration involves MrBeast, one of the world’s most famous digital creators. Players can receive an exclusive MrBeast hoodie sweatshirt simply by logging into the game. During matches, players may also encounter MrBeast-themed safes scattered across the battleground.

Wonderland World Mode Updates

The Wonderland World (WOW) mode continues to evolve with new tools and opportunities for creators. The PUBG Mobile creator incentive program, worth $10 million, now includes a win-win earnings model, allowing creators to sell custom items through the creation shop.
