PSG victory: the RN is outraged by the “violence” and “degradation” during the jubilation
The National Rally protested on Saturday evening at the “violence” and “degradation” which took place during the demonstrations of jubilation after PSG’s victory in the final of the Football Champions League against Arsenal.
“It is only in France where the victory of a football club provokes riots,” wrote on X the leader of the RN deputies, Marine Le Pen, while tensions took place in Paris, causing the arrest of 130 people.
“It is only in France where everyone feels obliged to lock themselves at home on a victory evening to avoid being confronted with violence,” she added.
The French can no longer stand these scenes of chaos which multiply at the slightest pretext, despite an extraordinary security system.
Support for our police officers, our gendarmes, our firefighters, and all those mobilized this evening to ensure the safety of the French.

According to a report established at 11 p.m. by the Paris police headquarters, 130 people were arrested, leading to 45 police custody and the seizure of 24 torches and around a hundred mortars. A police officer was also injured, while some businesses and vehicles were damaged.
“In Paris, in ÃŽle-de-France as everywhere in the territory, violence and degradation are increasing. Gangs are attacking public property, businesses and law enforcement,” said the president of the RN, Jordan Bardella.
“The mode of operation is always the same: stone, destroy, pillage. Total support for our police officers, gendarmes and firefighters who ensure the protection of the country in the face of atmospheric violence that has become unbearable,” he added.
At the other end of the political spectrum, LFI MP Clémence Guetté asked the Minister of the Interior to “not spoil the party again”.
“No violent repression: the disaster of last year must not be repeated,” she wrote, also on X.
