Normally priced at 549 euros, this mini PC powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 drops to 353 euros with the code TPFR45 (or FRTP45), a discount of almost 200 euros (-36%). To situate the scale of the deal: the mini PC was traded at 337 euros during AliExpress’s anniversary last March, which nevertheless remains one of AliExpress’s major annual operations.

Suffice to say that we are not far from the historic floor price, provided we do not delay too much. The offer ends on June 20 and the stock may run out well before then. In terms of guarantees, the product displays the “Brand+†label, a guarantee of authenticity with the official two-year guarantee included.

Payment is offered in 4 installments free of charge, i.e. 4 monthly payments of approximately 87 euros. Delivery is made from France (VAT included), free and quickly, and you have 90 days to return the product if you suddenly feel like changing your mind.

A mini PC that sees things big

The Bmax B8 A Pro enters a niche that was more or less deserted until recently: the mini PC capable of running real work, and not just two Chrome tabs and Spotify. At the heart of the beast, Bmax has chosen the AMD Ryzen 7 8745HS processor: 8 cores and 16 threads in Zen 4 architecture, engraved in 4 nm, up to 5.1 GHz in boost. Small interesting detail: it’s technically the same silicon as the 8845HS, but with the NPU block disabled.

AMD is thus selling its chips whose hardware AI has not passed quality tests, without cutting corners on CPU or GPU performance. At this price, it’s even rather clever. In terms of memory and storage, we have 16 GB of DDR5 and 512 GB of NVMe SSD. Honest, but above all: the case leaves room. An additional SSD slot allows you to double the capacity (or more depending on the modules available), and the RAM is expandable.

Enough to increase to 32 GB the day you decide to align several Docker containers locally, to keep Lightroom open next to Photoshop, or simply to launch a Windows VM to test something without destroying your main installation. The graphics part is entrusted to the Radeon 780M (12 RDNA 3 units, up to 2.7 GHz). It is the most capable iGPU on the market today, by far. 4K decoding in AV1, photo editing, video encoding, and even a little gaming on titles like Counter-Strike 2, Rocket League, Dota 2 or a Cyberpunk 2077 in 1080p adapted settings run honorably.

Clearly not a machine for triple-A full-on graphics, but well above anything Intel offers in the same segment. And above all, it manages three-screen display in 4K at 60 Hz and simultaneously! Which makes it a true, ultra-relevant multi-monitor workstation. In terms of connectivity, it’s also very complete: several USB Type-A ports, a Type-C, an HDMI output, a DisplayPort and an Ethernet port (ideal for the Plex server or the fiber which draws its 1 Gbit/s without fluctuating). The wireless part includes Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, exactly what we expect in 2026 without paying the extra cost of Wi-Fi 7.

The chassis has also been designed to withstand daily use without becoming paranoid: tolerance to shocks and small splashes of liquid, without falling into the shockproof case like a military adventurer. Everything arrives with Windows 11 Pro pre-installed, ready to use right out of the box. And if you run Linux instead, good news: the B8 A Pro easily accommodates Ubuntu, Debian or any recent distribution, Radeon drivers having been managed natively by the kernel for a long time.

No hacks to recognize the iGPU or proprietary drivers to recompile, it goes out of the box. In short, at this price, we are dealing with a mini PC that rivals desktop towers at 600 or 700 euros, in a format that fits in the palm of the hand. This is frankly a rare deal, especially on a recent AMD platform.
