Daniel Harding conducts Elgars Enigma Variations

Daniel Harding is the Music Director of the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Principal Guest Conductor of the London Symphony Orchestra, and musical partner of the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra. Since 2008, he has been the Principal Conductor of the Mahler Chamber Orchestra and has recently begun his first season as Music Director of the Orchestre de Paris.

He has been involved in numerous stage productions at La Scala in Milan, the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, as well as at the Salzburg and Aix-en-Provence festivals. (source: harmoniamundi.com)

The Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, under the direction of Daniel Harding, performed a selection of works including pieces by Ludwig Van Beethoven and Edward Elgar at the Maison de la Radio and Music on January 8, 2015, and February 27, 2025, respectively.

Another performance featured Eric Tanguy’s “Ballade” with Renaud Capuçon on violin and the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France conducted by Daniel Harding on February 27, 2025.

On January 9, 2015, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, conducted by Daniel Harding, presented Beethoven’s “Triple Concerto in C Major” with Lars Vogt on piano, Christian Tetzlaff on violin, and Tanja Tetzlaff on cello.
