ASUS appears to be drastically increasing the price of its AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics cards in the United States, with some variants seeing price hikes of up to 17.5%. Earlier this year, ASUS had made it clear that it intended to raise prices on certain products in 2026, and this week, it seems that one of these increases has taken effect. The Taiwanese manufacturer has significantly raised the prices of its AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics cards in the US, with increases ranging from 6.7% to 17.5%.

This information comes from the specialized site VideoCardz, which has been tracking the prices of four models of RX 9070 XT cards marketed by ASUS under the Prime and TUF series.

The Prime RX 9070 XT OC model has seen the largest price increase, now priced at $939.99 instead of $799.99, representing a 17.5% hike. The TUF RX 9070 XT OC model has also increased in price from $849.99 to $989.99, a 16.5% increase. The ASUS Prime RX 9070 XT White OC model increased slightly from $899.99 to $959.99, a 6.7% difference. However, the TUF RX 9070 XT COD BO7 Special Edition model remains out of stock and has not seen a price increase.

These high prices are not limited to the US market. In France, for example, the Prime RX 9070 XT OC model is priced at €894.99 (around $1,045), while the TUF RX 9070 XT OC model ranges from €843 to €949.95 (between $985 and $1,110) depending on the store, except for a promotion available from one of ASUS’s authorized resellers.

Consumers now have to pay significant amounts for what essentially is a mid-range graphics card, and French PC builders are even worse off than their US counterparts.
