French soprano Tamara Bounazou won the Classical Music Award on Saturday, March 20, 2026 in the category of “Lyric Artist Revelation”. This national distinction honors an artist who studied at the Montbéliard Conservatory.

Trained at the Montbéliard Conservatory at the beginning of her musical career, Tamara Bounazou developed the foundations of her training there before continuing her studies and career on the opera stages. This award, presented at the annual Classical Music Victories ceremony, recognizes young promising artists in the field of classical music every year.

The “Lyric Artist Revelation” category highlights new voices in opera and classical singing, encouraging them to pursue careers on national and international stages.

This distinction also serves as recognition for the Montbéliard Conservatory, where several students have pursued professional careers in the music industry for many years.

The Classical Music Victories are one of the main events dedicated to classical music in France, honoring performers, composers, and young talents every year.
