In a pleasant atmosphere, the traditional spring dance meal of the Club de l’amitié took place on Wednesday, April 8, at the Joinville festival hall, bringing together 82 people, members and friends.
From the welcome, the guests were thanked for their faithful presence, allowing each to share a moment of appreciated reunions. A thought was also addressed to those who could not join this friendly day. As usual, the care taken in decorating the tables was praised: small baskets filled with chocolate eggs and creatively folded napkins helped create a spring atmosphere. The organizers thanked all those involved in the preparations and service.
During the afternoon, various information was shared, including details about the planned Parisian outing on June 6, for which a few places are still available. The news of the Chant’Vallage choir was also highlighted, with a recap of their participation in the Retina concert at the Joinville church last March, as well as the announcement of their upcoming performance on May 10 at the Curel church.
The festive moment was ensured by the Jean-Claude Daniel orchestra from Toul, consisting of two artists, who kept the dancers on the floor throughout the lively and convivial afternoon. A sale of surprise envelopes also animated the meal, allowing several participants to leave with some prizes. Finally, the feast was particularly appreciated by all the guests.
This new edition of the dance meal once again confirmed the importance of these sharing moments, cherished by the Club de l’amitié, where conviviality and good humor remain the key words.
