Opera and Theatre Season at the Cinema: Le Senechal de Lectoure

The Théâtre et Opéra National de Paris season continues at the Cinéma Le Sénéchal.

On Sunday, April 19th at 4:00 p.m., “Tosca” will be screened: an opera in three acts by Giacomo Puccini with a libretto by Luigi Illica and Giuseppe Giacosa, premiered on January 14, 1900, at the Teatro Costanzi in Rome. Cast: Angèle Blue, Alexei Markov, Freddie De Tommaso, Vartan Gabriellian. Duration: 2 hours and 5 minutes.

On Saturday, May 23rd at 6:00 p.m., “Le Cid” by Pierre Corneille, directed by Denis Podalydès, will be showcased. Cast: Benjamin Laverhne, Christian Gonon, Suliane Brahim, Bakary Sangaré, Didier Sandre, Daniel Lebrun. Duration: 2 hours and 15 minutes.

Lastly, on Wednesday, June 24th at 5:00 p.m., “Hamlet” by William Shakespeare, directed by Ivo Van Hove, will be presented. Cast: Florence Viala, Denis Podalydès, Guillaume Gallienne, Loïc Corbery, Elissa Aloula. Duration: 2 hours and 5 minutes.

Programming: In anticipation of these special events, Cinéma Le Sénéchal will screen several films until Wednesday. On Sunday at 5:30 p.m., “Cocorico” and “Compostelle”, and at 8:30 p.m. “Une jeunesse indienne – Homebound” and “Projet dernière chance”; on Monday, April 13th at 9:00 p.m., “Ceux qui comptent” and “Un monde fragile et merveilleux”; on Tuesday, April 14th at 7:00 p.m., “Super Mario Galaxy Le film” and “Les Rayons et les ombres”.
