On March 24, 2026, Team Nice Côte d’Azur will participate in the Annual Cultural and Innovation(s) Meeting organized by CLIC – Club Innovation & Culture at the City of Science and Industry in Paris. This event is part of the Museums Meet in Paris week and takes place just before SITEM, an international gathering of museum and cultural venue professionals.

Over 310 professionals from 90 French-speaking institutions and companies, including representatives from major museums, cultural mediation specialists, technology companies, and innovation players, will come together for this event.

The theme of the discussions will be “Slow down, disconnect, reconnect”, which explores how cultural experiences are evolving in the digital age and the new balances between technology, mediation, and audience experience.

Axelle Xerri, Head of Project Development for Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) at Team Nice Côte d’Azur, will attend to enhance exchanges with cultural and technological stakeholders and promote the opportunities offered by the Nice Côte d’Azur region in this sector.

This presence aims to contribute to the development of an ecosystem at the crossroads of culture, image, digital, and technological innovation.

Several significant initiatives are driving this momentum. In the audiovisual sector, the Studios de la Victorine are undergoing a modernization program supported by France 2030 – La Grande Fabrique de l’Image, with a €37 million investment to enhance production capabilities and develop a hub for new forms of visual creation.

The region is also home to innovative projects in immersive cultural experiences. Cités Immersives has chosen Nice to create a cultural and event space combining digital scenography, audiovisual devices, and heritage content, showcasing new formats of cultural mediation.

The video game industry is also growing in the region, notably with the opening of the ISART Digital school in Nice in 2023 with Team Nice Côte d’Azur’s support. The future campus, planned for 2026 in Nice Écovallée, will include an incubator and dedicated spaces for entrepreneurship.

This creative environment is part of a recognized scientific and technological ecosystem, particularly in the field of artificial intelligence with the Côte d’Azur 3IA interdisciplinary institute, one of the four French institutes labeled under the national AI program, along with Inria, CNRS, and Université Côte d’Azur.

Lastly, hosting the international EVO competition in Nice, one of the world’s largest esports tournaments, demonstrates the region’s potential to host international events related to digital cultures.

Participating in the Cultural and Innovation(s) Meeting is an opportunity to strengthen the visibility of the ICC ecosystem in Nice Côte d’Azur, develop collaborations with cultural institutions and technology companies, and support innovative projects at the intersection of culture and digital.
