The first Australian cinema festival was a success on Saturday, April 11th, and Sunday, April 12th, with a varied program. Mayor Jean-Louis Raynady welcomed this first edition and expressed his thanks to all those involved in its preparation, especially Bernard Bories.

Bernard Bories spoke, mentioning his parents who spent part of the year in their family home in Nayrac, as well as his brother-in-law Bruno, who helped prepare for these days before passing away in January. He talked about his passion for Australian cinema and culture before presenting a slideshow on Australia, focusing on Aboriginal painting where nature is omnipresent with connections to the land, water, and plants referencing the sacred world. The films screened will explore the diversity of the country through different perspectives: the adventure of a young Aboriginal woman in the heart of the bush, behind the scenes of a music festival, peasant dramas, and the life of a famous Aboriginal painter. The event will include gourmet breaks with fouace made by volunteers, Torpez wines from Saint-Tropez, and champagne offered by Roadsign, a festival partner.

This first edition concluded with applause and the promise of a renewal in 2027.
