Bordeaux defeated Grenoble with a score of 4-3 in Game 3 of the Magnus League final, leading 2-1 in the series. Eleven years after joining the Magnus League, Bordeaux is two wins away from claiming its first French ice hockey championship title! The Boxers, fourth in the regular season, are now 2-1 ahead in the final against the reigning champions Grenoble’s Wolves. The Isérois lost and then won in their two home games, but in their first face-off on their ice, the Girondins dominated Game 3 by winning 4-3.

The Canadians in good form Canadian Jeremy Beaudry opened the scoring for Bordeaux in the 4th minute with a left shot, followed by Mathieu Pompéri doubling the lead in the 19th, near the goal. Just five minutes into the second period, another Canadian, Loïk Poudrier, gave the Boxers a three-goal advantage in front of the net. Grenoble narrowed the gap to 35th minute by Valentin Grossetête with a solo effort. Bordeaux extended their lead thanks to Kaylian Leborgne near the net (4-1, 45th).

Game 4 starts on Wednesday The Isérois then scored two goals in quick succession in numerical superiority, by Canadian Christophe Boivin on the right (48th) and Sacha Treille in the middle (49th).
