The Libourne-Keynsham twinning association is delighted to announce the next edition of its traditional British-style Pub Quiz evening, which will take place on Thursday, April 2nd starting at 7:30 pm at the Au Bureau restaurant.
Over the years, the Pub Quizzes organized by the Libourne-Keynsham twinning association have become a symbolic gathering for all fans of Franco-British culture, providing an opportunity to immerse oneself in the English-speaking world while sharing a warm and playful moment.
During this upcoming evening, participants will be able to test their knowledge through various themes such as music, cinema, art, history, and tourism – an eclectic mix to ensure everyone can participate and have fun.
Whether you come as a team or solo, you are welcome: groups (maximum 6 people) can be formed on site to encourage socializing and conviviality.
On site, everyone can eat and freely socialize. A minimum contribution of €2 per person will be requested to support the association. The funds will help towards organizing the reception of Keynsham residents, who will visit Libourne from August 21st to the 26th, 2026.
Through this type of event, the association continues its mission: promoting cultural and human exchanges between Libourne and its English twin town, Keynsham, while offering moments accessible to all. Since 2025, the association has also been developing new events for the English-speaking public in Libourne and its surroundings: the “Small French Salons.” These open exchange sessions, held in a public place, aim to promote the practice of the French language for English speakers eager to exchange and improve their French, in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
And that’s not all: mark your calendars for the next major highlight of the season. On May 30th, the association will organize its traditional Garden Party at the Parc de l’Épinette, in partnership with the municipal conservatory. A festive and family event, with more details to be announced soon.
