Three questions Daniel Lesage, president of the collective Les Arts partagés (Clap). After five years of activities, what is your assessment of your involvement in the cultural landscape of Manche? The year 2025 saw the 5th edition of Arts en fêtes benefiting from even greater success than the previous year, with a flagship exhibition in Valognes that brought together 34 exhibitors and over 1,700 visitors. And beyond Valognes? We reach throughout Manche, except Cherbourg-en-Cotentin, through our involvement in local cultural events – around twenty last year – such as book fairs in Les Pieux, Torigny, Sainte-Mère-Église, Agon-Coutainville, Dangy, as well as Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue and Saint-Martin-sur-Mer. And what else? Summer markets, creators markets, end-of-year markets in the heart of villages, and even regional conferences. Clap members participate in various events throughout the year. These are places of artistic exchange where we can not only exhibit our works but also meet other artists.
