The Caisse d’Epargne Côte d’Azur supports the Sonary Sound Library with 1,500 euros to make reading accessible to people struggling to read.
The Caisse d’Epargne Côte d’Azur (CECAZ) reaffirms its local commitment by providing financial support of 1,500 euros to the Association of Voice Donors – Sonary Sound Library in Sanary. This donation aims to modernize the association’s equipment, which works to make literature accessible to visually impaired individuals, people with disabilities, or those facing reading difficulties.
Thanks to this contribution, the organization will be able to acquire two new computers, replacing outdated computer equipment. These tools are essential to the association’s mission: the production and distribution of audio books, a valuable service that helps combat isolation and ensure equal access to culture. The Association of Voice Donors, known for its work in the area, relies on a network of volunteers who record books to provide them for free to “audioreaders.” More information about their mission is available on the organization’s national website.
Official donation ceremony To formalize this partnership, a donation ceremony will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 9:00 am, at the Caisse d’Epargne branch in Sanary, located on Boulevard de l’Avenir.
This event will be attended by several key figures, including Dominique Lesven, representative of the association, who will receive the check. From CECAZ, Julie Manzi, Toulon Littoral territory director, and Xavier Bastien, Sanary branch director, will be present. The cooperative governance of the bank will also be represented by Robert Deledda, president of the Toulon Var Ouest Local Savings Company (SLE), and Olivier Debeurme, SLE board member.
A territorial commitment rooted in cooperative action This support is part of the sponsorship policy of the Caisse d’Epargne Côte d’Azur, a cooperative bank that serves over 640,000 clients in the Alpes-Maritimes and Var departments. True to its values, CECAZ focuses its solidarity action on three priority areas: sports and health, with a particular focus on parasports; the support and inclusion of vulnerable individuals; and sustainable development to promote ecological transition.
In 2025, the bank allocated 119,685 euros to its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy, funding 17 projects led by local associations. Every year, a call for projects is launched to support innovative initiatives in the region. For 2026, the chosen theme is “Biodiversity.” Organizations interested in proposing a project can do so through the dedicated platform.
The Caisse d’Epargne Côte d’Azur is part of the BPCE Group, the second-largest banking group in France.
