During a 15-minute presentation stream, 11 bit also updated players on the development of Frostpunk 1886, revealed a brand new Frostpunk-inspired graphic novel, and even teased an absolutely intense Frostpunk LARP event that’s much more realistic than one might think.

This fully realized storyline, based on new mechanics and challenges, takes players through a trial by fire as they struggle to overcome a crisis in New Edinburgh. Located near a volcano destabilized by the reckless use of geothermal energy to power its generator, the city is facing serious danger. With the ground shaking beneath their feet, players take the helm as First Citizen, held accountable through periodic votes of confidence that measure their approval rating. But as hell approaches, will you foster trust or unleash destruction? Because from the same fire that destroys, unity can be born.
