Forza Horizon 6 gameplay revealed ahead of May 19 release
In the latest episodes of Forza Horizon, as with many racing games over the decades, the early moments of these games put you behind the wheel of high-speed cars right in the middle of a chase or a race to gauge your actual skill level. Well, Forza Horizon 6 is no exception as the official site offers us the first 6 minutes of gameplay from the game. You are quickly thrown into a 2024 Nissan GT-R Nismo, a classic and iconic car in any racing game.
Before you know it, you are racing a 2021 Polaris RZR Pro 4 on a snowy track, and even before you have time to grab a tissue for the cold you just caught while driving, you are thrust back onto the asphalt with a 1995 Porsche 911 GT2. As if that wasn’t enough, you are then taken directly to a 2025 Toyota GR GT. Those who have tried Forza Horizon 5, for example, will remember this concept of fragmented races.
The game is set to be released on May 19 and appears to have a Japanese-themed skin, but the fun seems to remain. The ForzaTech Engine continues to deliver visually, but will it bring a more natural feel to the deserted cities? Will the experience be renewed in the best case scenario, merely improved in the worst, or remain the same? Only time will tell! If you were wondering what kind of hardware the developers at Playground Games and Turn10 are using to fine-tune the race cars, we recommend checking out a recent post by David where he explains it all!
Fact Check: Forza Horizon 6 gameplay details have been revealed ahead of its release on May 19. The game seems to continue the tradition of putting players in fast cars right from the start. An official video showing the gameplay has also been shared on the official site.
