OneXPlayer has quietly launched a new AMD gaming mini PC, the OneXStation. It is equipped with the Ryzen AI Max+ 395, the high-end processor in the Strix Halo range. The company currently only offers one configuration, which pairs the Zen 5 processor with 128GB of LPDDR5X RAM clocked at 8000MHz.
Out of the 128GB of RAM, users can allocate up to 96GB to the Radeon 8060S iGPU as VRAM. This integrated GPU, as we found in our in-depth analysis, this integrated GPU, as we found in our in-depth analysis, can deliver similar gaming performance to the Nvidia RTX 4070 laptop GPU. It can also support heavy AI workloads.
Storage-wise, the OneXStation has two PCIe 4.0 x4 slots, each of which can accommodate a 4TB SSD (2TB Samsung 990 EVO Plus, currently $375.73 on Amazon). OneXPlayer also points out that the mini PC features a dual-fan cooling system with an internal fan blowing downward. This configuration allows the system to deliver up to 120W of performance.
The TDP is adjustable, allowing users to switch between 55W, 85W and 120W modes. There is also a rich selection of ports, including:
- 3x USB 3.2 Type-A
- 2x USB4
- 1x 3,5 mm audio
- 1x DisplayPort
- 1x HDMI
- 1x SD 4.0
- 1x audio 3,5 mm
- 1x Ethernet 2.5G
Interestingly, the USB4 ports on this mini PC support eGPU and DisplayPort 1.4, but there is no power support.
Design-wise, the OneXStation looks similar to some of the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 mini PCs. The form factor, for example, isn’t much different from the Corsair AI Workstation 300, but the OneXPlayer has integrated an LED strip around the front corners, making it stand out a bit more.
The OneXStation is available on the official store at the introductory price of $2,999. This price corresponds to the only configuration offered by OneXPlayer, which includes 128 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. View the datasheet below to learn more about the system.
