The BRIX GB-BRR7-450 is still very shy since the brand has not published an image or price, its technical sheet is present and just indicates the overall description of its equipment.
Gigabyte BRIX BRU9-386H
We therefore find a MiniPC 11.9 cm wide, 11.3 cm deep and 3.4 cm thick. A slightly smaller footprint than the BRIX GB-BER7-8840 under Ryzen 7 8840U launched in January 2025. It is more than likely that the manufacturer aligns this BRIX GB-BRR7-450 with the new design of its MiniPC Panther Lake BRIX BRU9-386H announced in January 2026.Â

For the rest, it’s pretty standard. We therefore find a Gorgon Point chip which will drive two channels of DDR5-5600 RAM in SODIMM. Two M.2 2280 ports, the first in NVMe PCIe Gen5 x4 and the second in Gen4 x4 as well as an M.2 2230 port for wireless modules. A very scalable solution, therefore, that the manufacturer will be able to offer in barebones as well as in a pre-equipped machine depending on the state of the market.

The front connectivity lists a 3.5 mm combo audio jack, two USB 3.2 Type-A and one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C. At the rear, the space is shared for 2 HDMI outputs, a USB4, a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C which will serve as power for the machine, a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A and a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C. A 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet is also listed. At this stage, there is no longer too much doubt, this connection corresponds point by point to that of the Intel machine presented at CES at the beginning of the year and of which I am peppering this post with images to illustrate it. We can therefore imagine without too much risk that the BRIX GB-BRR7-450 will just be a carbon copy from an external point of view.
Quite a few positive points for these machines: the promise of discreet operation both in their visibility with a VESA hook as well as silent operation. Cable security and a Kensington Lock type anti-theft anchor point. Quadruple display possible with dual HDMI and USB Type-C outputs dispensing with DisplayPort. This makes it a good business solution, but also a comfortable minimachine for an individual.
It remains to know the price and availability of the machine.
