KeyCare has chosen Nemotron for its high reasoning performance, coherence, and suitability with real clinical workflows. KeyCare’s admission agent, integrated into its virtual waiting room, adapts in real-time based on the patient’s reason for consultation, synthesizing relevant clinical information in Epic before the start of the examination. The solution is deployed across all KeyCare’s clinical operations and brings measurable improvements in both practitioner efficiency and patient care experience.

For common reasons for urgent care, such as upper respiratory infections and urinary tract infections, initial results show an efficiency gain of 15 to 30% for healthcare staff when the agent is utilized. KeyCare continues to refine its admission agent for other high-volume pathologies. KeyCare relies on a vertically integrated model that combines technology, clinical operations, and a medical group covering 50 states.

This structure allows AI agents, like the admission agent, to be securely deployed in production, be appropriately regulated, and be scaled within partner healthcare systems. In addition to developing its own AI agents, KeyCare’s native Epic platform enables the company to quickly adopt and operationalize AI innovations from Epic, as well as third-party solutions designed to integrate into this ecosystem. KeyCare plans to expand the use of its NVIDIA-powered AI agents to other segments of virtual care pathways, including visit orientation, operational optimization, and patient support.
