The golf course of Lake Annecy, like many golf courses throughout France, is participating in the golf initiation program sponsored by the French Golf Federation. The golf course, located in Talloires, will offer free initiation sessions every Sunday in the month of April. While there is no age to start playing with a golf club, it is certain that starting at a young age offers better chances of quickly acquiring the right practice.

The golf course of Lake Annecy welcomes 90 children in its school, supervised by volunteers and two pros. Last season, three young players from the school, Édouard Grebel, Come Wyniecki, and Louis Tuffelli, joined the Team Chamois 74, led by the departmental committee. Identified for their great potential for progress, they received sports coaching which led them to become departmental champions in 2025, in their category.

Louis discovered golf at the age of 4 thanks to his grandparents during school holidays, in Sassenage. In 2022, he joined the Talloires school, continuing a line of golfers from his paternal great-grandfather, Georges, who played at a high level in Bordeaux and was still playing at 92. Living next to the golf course, Come was introduced to golf by his friends. Surrounded by a family of golfers, Édouard hit his first balls at the age of 3. He quickly became addicted to this competitive sport, especially since he is a competitor at heart. Selected by the Rhône-Alpes league, he receives financial support from the golf club to face a new competition season.

Up to the age of 10, golf structures that also provide equipment are accessible for a reasonable cost, as parents emphasize. However, as the level of play increases, the cost and time investment require significant support from families and golf structures.

Registration can be done at the golf reception or by phone at 04 50 60 12 89.
