On Wednesday, March 31, at the Maison du projet, the Mission locale du Luberon du Pays des Sorgues et des Monts de Vaucluse organized a round table discussion on “Discovering defense and security professions,” in partnership with the national police, the gendarmerie, and the information and recruitment center for the armed forces of the Air Force.

During this meeting, 17 young people were able to exchange with professionals and discover the variety and range of defense and security professions: protection, chef, nurse, logistician, civil engineer, military engineer, auto mechanic, aeronautical mechanic, gendarme, intelligence operator.

Rich, fluid, and constructive exchanges took place. “The active participation of our young people, marked by numerous questions, allowed for rich, fluid, and constructive exchanges. The partners also expressed their satisfaction, notably through the interest shown by the youth,” commented Laetitia Braquet, coordinator of the Isle-sur-la-Sorgue branch.

The Mission locale du Luberon du Pays des Sorgues et des Monts de Vaucluse carries out a public service mission with an essential objective: to support young people aged 16 to 25 years (up to 29 years for those with disabilities) in their professional and social integration paths, aiming for their access to employment and autonomy.
