Following the qualification of PSG in the semi-finals of the Champions League and Strasbourg in the semi-finals of the Conference League, the LFP has made some adjustments to the schedule of the end of the Ligue 1 season. The postponed matches from the 29th matchday will take place on May 13th.

Several changes in the Ligue 1 schedule have been made. The qualifications of PSG and Strasbourg in the Champions League and Conference League semi-finals have disrupted the programming of the end of the French championship season.

In a statement released on Friday, the Professional Football League (LFP) announced changes for the 29th, 33rd, and 34th matchdays of Ligue 1. As reported by RMC Sport on Thursday, the 33rd matchday, which involves the first multiplex of this season’s end, is moved from Saturday, May 9th to Sunday, May 10th. Eight matches will be available simultaneously. The meeting between Lens and Nantes has been moved to Friday, May 8th, following an agreement from the LFP’s Board of Directors on this matter.

Furthermore, due to the rescheduling of the 33rd matchday multiplex in Ligue 1, the kick-off times for the 34th matchday multiplex in Ligue 2, initially scheduled for Saturday, May 9th at 5:00 pm, have been moved to the same day at 8:00 pm.

Lens-PSG on May 13th at 9:00 pm

Another adjustment is the rescheduling of the 34th matchday from Saturday, May 16th to Sunday, May 17th. The 34th matchday multiplex will still feature the nine championship matches simultaneously at 9:00 pm. Between Matchdays 33 and 34, two Ligue 1 matches are scheduled. They involve the postponed matches of PSG and Strasbourg from the 29th matchday. The clash between Brest and Strasbourg will take place on May 13th at 7:00 pm, while the match between PSG and their current runner-up, Lens, will be held at 9:00 pm on the same day.

As a result of these adjustments, the UNFP Trophy ceremony is likely to be rescheduled. The LFP has not yet issued any communication on the matter.
