Shiro Games, the French studio behind Dune: Spice Wars, Wartales and Northgard, has announced the early access release date for its online multiplayer action-RPG, Farever. Players will be able to discover this fantastic world on PC via Steam starting May 6, 2026.
Exploration and adventure
Farever transports players to the world of Siagarta, a colorful open world, rich in adventure and mysteries. Exploration will be at the heart of the experience, with the ability to roam vast regions, explore dungeons, discover hidden wonders and uncover secrets. Players will be able to set out alone or in groups, scale sheer cliffs, soar through the skies, dive into underground caves and find equipment powerful to shape their own legend. systems game promises great freedom in the way you approach the adventure.
Early Access will feature four distinct classes, covering tank, support, and DPS roles. Shiro Games plans to add more classes as development continues. A flexible system of weapons, abilities and talents will allow players to customize their characters and adapt to dynamic combat against formidable enemies. Cooperation will also be highlighted, with the possibility of forming teams to face formidable bosses.
A constantly evolving world
Siagarta consists of varied regions, each offering unique environments, puzzles to solve, platforming challenges and interesting rewards. Activities will scale to group size, allowing players to enjoy personalized experiences, whether in solo or multiplayer. Cities will serve as gathering points and provide access to crafting professions such as cooking and blacksmithing. By specializing in a profession and collecting rare materials, players will be able to craft powerful equipment to progress in their adventure. Crafting and collecting resources are therefore important elements of the gameplay.
