Salies-de-Béarn: Le Saleys cinema celebrates Asian culture

At 2:30 p.m., the film “Scarlet and Eternity” (from 10 years old – VOST FR – 1h51) will be shown. This is the new film by Mamoru Hosoda, one of the masters of Japanese animation (“The Wolf Children, Ame and Yuki”, “The Boy and the Beast”). It will be followed, at 3 p.m., by the film “The Daughter of the Konbini” (VOST FR – 1h16), the second feature film by Japanese director Yûho Ishibashi.

At 4:20 p.m., a snack will be offered by the cinema with a tasting of Asian products.

At 5 p.m., the Tarbes company SO Kore’art will offer a K-pop dance demonstration accompanied by explanations of this musical genre originating from South Korea, in partnership with the Cinephilae association and the Made in Asia Festival in Toulouse (price: 4 euros per person – 1 hour).

At 5:30 p.m., workshops will introduce you to the art of Chinese calligraphy, origami and discover haikus.

At 6:30 p.m., the film “My big brother and me” by Ryôta Nakano (VOST FR – 2h07) will be screened in preview.
