During an April outing, members of the Comunitat Valenciana lived an unforgettable experience in the heart of the Causses du Quercy, in the phosphatières du Cloup d’Aural in Bach in the Lot.
Thanks to a passionate guide, they discovered an old phosphate mine, an open-air cave where paleontology mixes with ancient history and the evolution of life over more than 30 million years.
After a friendly and warm meal at the “Mas d’Aspech” it was a journey with puzzles to solve in a 5 hectare park and under a mild sky. So a pleasant and informative day.
The Frontonnaise Association was created to promote the culture of the Valencia region, in Spain, through cultural, academic and social activities such as Spanish lessons, cinema outings or guided tours.
The members of the association will soon meet in Périgord for new adventures.
Solidarity concert by the local choir
The Castelcantorum choir is organizing a concert at the Church of Fronton on Saturday May 9 at 8 p.m., accompanied by Saint-Geniès en Choir and the Chordaria de Castelnau d’Estrétefonds, this concert will be given for the benefit of Catholic relief.
