On April 24 and 25, in Calvisson, we lay down our arms, make way for the arts! The Dare d’Art company is launching Aux Arts les Citoyens, a new festival taking over Place Roger-Mathieu. Circus, music, theater and magic all weekend, until the highlight of Saturday, the show La tent d’Edgar.
In Calvisson, for two days, a new festival lays down its arms, art takes over Place Roger-Mathieu. Aux Arts les Citoyens, carried by the company Dare d’Art, announces festive colors during a weekend. From Friday, Place Roger-Mathieu, the village is transformed into an artistic playground. Circus, theater, music, magic, poetry, exhibitions…
On Friday, it starts at 7:30 p.m. with Neige Soseki, a circus puppet tale, a performance by the Dare d’Art Company. At 8:20 p.m., meal break, before leaving at 8:40 p.m. with In bocca al lupo, a burlesque show based on Italian songs. The evening then moves on around 10 p.m. with a live concert film.
On Saturday, no time to hang out. At 11:30 a.m., Allez Zou! opens the day with a musical show. At 12:15 p.m., poetic meal shared in an improvised atmosphere. At 2 p.m., engraving or music workshops, just after the exhibition of photos in the streets of Naples by Nîmoise Sarah Malclès. And at 4:15 p.m., The Tent of Edgarburlesque magic show by the company The Spring Trapclearly one of the highlights of the weekend.
And then shows, conferences, happenings all weekend long. At 8:15 p.m., place at Deliver mayhemmusical concert, then at 9:30 p.m. the group Bric à Brac Combo takes over. End of the evening with a DJ set with Annabelle until midnight. A large part of the activities on the square remain free.
