The President of the General Information Organization (OGI), Alaa Youssef, and the former Minister of Foreign Affairs and President of the Egyptian Council of Foreign Policy, Mohamed El-Orabi, met on Tuesday at the OGI headquarters.
Cooperation with national institutions in political and diplomatic matters was discussed. The meeting focused on implementing a cooperation protocol between the two parties to support the OGI’s role in raising awareness and education, especially in light of current regional and international issues. It emphasized the importance of increasing awareness of political and strategic issues. The organization is open to high-level national expertise and aims to benefit from the diplomatic and intellectual frameworks of the Egyptian Council of Foreign Policy to enhance the content provided to citizens and improve the efficiency of its employees, particularly in analyzing international and regional issues, Mr. Youssef explained.
Mr. El-Oraby acknowledged the vital role played by OGI in shaping public opinion and enhancing the image of the Egyptian state. He expressed full willingness to cooperate with the organization in various activities and events.
