For the second consecutive year, the most promising players in the U19 and U17 categories will come together in Marseille. Organized last season by the Foot Factory structure, the Trophy Hope of Football will indeed have its 2nd edition on May 14th at the Vélodrome stadium.
And Marseille could be crowned at home since four elements from the Olympian academy are competing in different categories. Scoring 14 goals each in the U19 National this season, Antoine Valero and Ugo Lamare El Kadmiri (who has played in Ligue 1 for Lorient and Nantes) could compete for the title of best forward.
The two shooters from OM have often been assisted by Milan Leccese, who has around ten assists since the beginning of the season. The performances of the Marseille midfielder have earned him a spot among the 8 nominees in his position.
The last Olympian in the running, this time in the U17 category, is midfielder Samy Bedja, one of the biggest hopes from the Phocéen training center. At just 15 years old, the Franco-Algerian has had a successful season one category above and has even tasted U19 level, in both league matches and the Gambardella Cup.
