KRAFTON, Inc. announces the launch of “PAYDAY,” an all-new cooperative mode for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, available from May 12 to June 10. Developed in collaboration with Starbreeze Entertainment, the studio behind the PAYDAY franchise, this temporary mode immerses players in the adrenaline of high-risk urban heists. To celebrate the release, an exclusive cinematic trailer is accompanied by “Baby Driver”, an original track by 070 Shake.
A Cooperative and Strategic Heist Mode
In “PAYDAY,” players form teams to plan and execute spectacular heists. Far from the classic battle royale, this mode highlights team coordination, strategy and role management. Five classes are available: Assault, Medic, Tank, Marksman and Ghost, each offering unique skills to meet the challenges of different missions.
Heists take place in immersive urban environments such as The Exchange, Diamond District, Nightclub and Road Rage. The teams must steal safes, sensitive data and cash, then escape before the situation escalates. Players can opt for a discreet, tactical approach or dive into the action with direct confrontations.
A Trailer Paced by 070 Shake
The trailer features a team of masked robbers in a cinematic atmosphere where tension and adrenaline mingle. To accompany this release, 070 Shake signs “Baby Driver”, the first original title created especially for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS.
