A “ciné-goûter” session will complete the program of Véo Grand Central for children.
Presented in preview, tomorrow, Wednesday, May 13 at 3:30 p.m., “New Friends at Puffin Rock”, Jeremy Purcell’s new animated film will be aimed at an audience of 4 years and older (duration: 1 hour 20 minutes). An adaptation of the TV series “Puffin Rock”, “New Friends at Puffin Rock” benefits from the quality of the settings of Tom Moore’s films and a scenario adapted for younger audiences, combining adventure, friendships, and a hint of ecology. The story follows Oona and her friends, faced with the mysterious disappearance of an egg while a storm threatens their island, prompting them to embark on an urgent quest to find it.
Against a backdrop of climate change, coastal erosion, and species fragilization, the film is also a subtle plea for living together. Friendship, mutual aid, or the question of uprooting, these important subjects are approached at a child’s eye level, very naturally, creating “a tender universe, a reassuring and educational climate”. This session will be followed by a snack and a suitable animation. Price: 5 € (film + snack + animation).
