L’interprète de I’m leaving is back: Vianney, who had put music on hold in particular to build a cabin in the woods, announced on Monday a new tour of 40 dates starting in March 2027.
The singer published on his social networks an announcement video listing his upcoming concerts in the Zénith and Arena, from March 24, 2027 in Reims to March 24, 2028 in Narbonne. A date is also planned in Brussels. Vianney has not mentioned at this stage the arrival of a next album, but it is common for artists to back a new opus with a tour.
His latest studio album composed of duets and trios, A 2 à 3, was released in 2023 on the independent label Tôt ou tard (Vincent Delerm, Zaz, Noé Preszow). “Vianney will find what he loves most: being alone on stage, facing the audience“, with “a generous spectacle“, indicated his label.
The 35-year-old artist will return to concert after a five-year break, a chosen artistic and media distance that he had informed his fans about. In the meantime, he became a carpenter to build a wooden cabin in the middle of nature over nine months, an approach documented and shared with his community. This place now serves as a recording studio.
Known for his pop ballads including Step-Dadthe singer-songwriter made himself known in 2014, guitar around his neck, with the titles I hate you et Pas là . One of the figures of current French song, he shared a duet with Gims in 2018 The mêmeand regularly collaborates with other artists including Kendji Girac.
