UAE national carrier Etihad Airways is expanding its summer network with three new routes and the return of five seasonal services across Europe and Africa during June 2026.

New launches include Krakow, Poland from 11 June and Palma de Mallorca, Spain from 12 June, each operating three weekly flights. Zanzibar will follow on 14 June with four weekly services.

Returning destinations include Malaga, Spain, operating three weekly flights, with a fourth frequency added between 29 June and 31 August to meet peak summer demand. In Greece, flights to Mykonos and Santorini will resume on 15 and 16 June respectively, both operating twice weekly via Athens. Nice, France, will follow on 19 June with two weekly services.

Etihad is also introducing a summer-themed amenity kit featuring items such as a waterproof backpack, a waterproof phone pouch and hydration-focused drinks. The kits will be offered to passengers on the inaugural flights of each seasonal route.

Separate from the core summer programme, the carrier will also launch flights to Al Alamein in Egypt from 16 July 2026, operating twice weekly. Destinations such as Paris and Kabul will also see increased daily frequencies from 1 and 15 July, respectively.

Etihad’s rapid expansion comes as the airline continues to rebuild capacity following disruption linked to the Iran war. CEO Antonoaldo Neves said the carrier expects to operate at around 8% above pre-war levels by mid-June.
