According to sources close to Sheep EsportsVietnam has finalized its player selection for the Esports Nations Cup VALUING. The following players are expected to be on the roster:
  • Hoà ng “f1cio†Ngá» c SÆ¡n
  • Ä inh “YesicaNâ€ Ä Ã¬nh Ä áº¡t (IGL)
  • That”…n “n1zzy†Tấn Thành
  • Lư “Crus”. Tiến Huy
  • Tạ “Pr0digy†Phương Duy
  • Traº§n “bucute†Công Danh (SUB)

A Familiar Core Shaping Vietnam’s Approach

Therefore, it seems that Vietnam’s choices rely on the intention to bring together players who have already shared similar competitive environments — especially at Fancy United. f1cio and YESicaN, two long-standing figures of the organization, are once again at the heart of this structure. At the same time, bucute, who is currently also part of Fancy United, is expected to occupy the substitute role for the national selection. Crus and n1zzy have also represented the club in the past. This proximity should allow the Vietnamese selection to rely on pre-existing synergy.

n1zzy also stands out as one of the more distinctive profiles within this selection. After his stint with Fancy United, he spent time with both Team Secret Academy and Team Secret’s main roster in the VCT Pacific. He is the only group member with the clearest direct exposure to a Tier 1 environment. His experience could therefore complement a team mainly structured around the Vietnamese scene and its regional circuit.

A Mandatory Path Through the Qualifier

As a reminder, 16 of the 32 participating nations will receive direct invitations to the tournament’s main event. Direct qualification is based on each team’s total points, calculated from player performance. Each nation’s ranking is determined by the combined points of its five highest-scoring players. Vietnam currently sits at 350 points, distributed as follows:

  • Hoà ng “f1cio†Ngá» c SÆ¡n (100 points)
  • Ä inh “YESicaNâ€ Ä Ã¬nh Ä áº¡t (100 points)
  • I “n1zzy†Táo¥n Thà nh (100 points)
  • Lư “Crus†Tiáo¿n Huy (50 points)
  • Take “Pr0digy†Phương Duy (0 points)
  • Tráo§n “bucute†Công Danh (0 points)
In terms of points, this total does not appear sufficient to secure direct access to the main event, which will be played in Riyadh from November 8 to 15. It means Vietnam will have to go through the Southeast Asia & Oceania Qualifier if it wants to join the list of contenders for the title.
