In just over two weeks, theAMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 will be available. We suspect that it will be expensive, but the question that remains is “how expensive?”. Fans of simple calculations may have observed that we currently find in France the Ryzen 9 9950X at around 540 €, the Ryzen 9 9950X3D rather around 690 €, therefore with its double dose of 3D V-Cache the Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 would make sense around 840 € in this case. Except that the world of commerce often doesn’t work in such a simple way, and everything is possible, especially for such an elitist niche sector.
Over the past 48 hours, more and more retailers have started to add call prices to their Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 product sheets. For example, we were able to find three Canadian resellers who are all between CAN$1,370 and CAN$1,380, or even three British resellers between £888 and £905. We continued the research and also found a Belgian reseller at 1020€. By taking out the converter and taking into account the VAT applied directly or not by each country, we obtain in all the cases that we have just cited a final price of around 1000€ including tax.
Is this a sign? It’s up to you to think so, or not! We will be fixed anyway in just over two weeks now. The launch will take place as we said on Wednesday April 22, 2026, probably at 3:00 p.m. if AMD keeps its habits. However, we should know the price of the toy a little before, since there should be an end of embargo a little before on the press tests, which will not fail to specify the price. This is usually 24 hours before launch, we will see if this is also the case for the 9950X3D2.
