SUPPORT FOR IMPROVING PRODUCTIVITY AND PRODUCT QUALITY

Support for improving productivity and product quality.

During the period 2021-2025, the program to support businesses in improving productivity and product quality in the province effectively supported and promoted businesses in applying science, technology, and innovation to enhance production and commercial efficiency.

Focusing on the construction and implementation of a quality management system contributes to increasing the competitiveness of N&H Agricultural Products Joint Stock Company’s products.

To date, the province has assisted 141 companies in implementing systems and management tools to improve their productivity and product quality. It has also supported the evaluation, certification, and declaration of compliance of 247 product records, establishing a solid legal and qualitative framework for goods placed on the market. There has been significant progress in the agricultural sector, with 131 establishments obtaining VietGAP and VietGAHP certifications.

One of the major strengths of the program lies in its support for companies in implementing advanced management systems such as ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000:2018, and HACCP standards. These rigorous standards require a profound transformation of management practices and operational processes.

N&H Agricultural Products Joint Stock Company (Tan An district) is one of the supported units in implementing a quality management system in accordance with the TCVN ISO 9001:2015 standard. Thanks to this support, the company has been able to access an advanced management model, apply it to its production process, and make a significant impact through scientific principles and modern management.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong, director of N&H Agricultural Products Joint Stock Company, stated that since obtaining the necessary support for the implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 standard, all production processes have been standardized, allowing the company to better control production stages, reduce costs, and improve competitiveness. This commitment to quality allows them to expand their market with confidence.

With a solid management structure, the company has obtained ISO 22000:2018 certification. It is currently finalizing the necessary steps to officially export its agricultural products through official channels.

Contribute to achieving growth objectives.

As a key entity for advising and implementing support policies, the Department of Science and Technology, in addition to providing technical assistance, also focuses on communication and organizing training on traceability and barcode systems. According to Deputy Director Pham Gia Viet, the application of advanced management systems not only helps companies standardize their processes but also is the fastest way to increase the value, visibility, and competitiveness of Dak Lak products on a global scale.

Despite many positive results, the implementation of the national program to support businesses in improving productivity and product quality in Dak Lak province still faces challenges. The province plans to continue developing local technical standards for key products and enhance international cooperation. The government’s determination and the dynamism of businesses should help maintain the province’s leading position in the global market.

Mr. Pham Gia Viet stated: “Over the past five years of implementation, the program has closely monitored the set objectives, actively supporting the business environment in improving its competitiveness and contributing to enhancing productivity, quality, and competitiveness of the provincial economy.”

According to Mr. Viet, between 2026 and 2030, Dak Lak province will further focus on digital transformation, green productivity, and smart industry. The goal is to support 150 to 200 companies in their development, while locally training a team of high-level productivity experts who will work closely with them. This is key to ensuring that science and technology contribute to achieving the province’s double-digit growth target for 2026.
