PUBG: Battlegrounds has deployed the 41.1 update, which introduces a new game mode along with several changes to gameplay, maps, and weapons.

New mode: Xeno Point The highlight of the update is Xeno Point, a PvE mode with roguelite elements. In this mode, players face off against alien enemies on an alternate version of the Miramar map, offering a new gaming experience.

Destructible environment on Erangel One of the biggest gameplay changes is the addition of destructible terrain on Erangel. Explosions, grenades, mortars, and even vehicles can now reshape the environment, adding a new layer of strategy to combat.

Weapon and equipment updates The update introduces a hybrid scope with switchable 1x/4x zoom and a new angled grip designed to improve recoil control. In addition to these additions, many balancing changes have been applied, and several weapons and accessories have been reworked.

Blue Chip Tower improvements The Blue Chip Tower now allows players to revive their co-players, increasing the potential for comebacks during matches. Additionally, players can spend enemy tokens near the tower to call in special airdrops. These airdrops resemble those from flare guns, but they offer different loot reserves and drop rates.

Jammer pack and new item The jammer pack has been expanded to three levels, each corresponding to the storage capacity of a standard backpack. Its ability to absorb damage from the blue zone is now proportional to its level.

A new item, the emergency supply rocket, has also been added. It can be found in airdrops, secret rooms, loot trucks, laboratory camps, and supply depots. When used, it calls in a supply crate that lands near the rocket’s location.

Possible contents are as follows: – Always: three types of ammunition – About 80% chance to include: 1. Cover items (emergency cover rocket, folding shield) 2. Gear (all-in-one repair kit, medical supplies) – Other rewards may appear with a lower probability.

Changes to come The 42.1 update (June) will remove several underused weapons from the game: – Mosin Nagant – R45 – DP-28 – PP-19 Bizon – P1911 – QBU

Overall, the 41.1 update brings a mix of new gameplay systems and balancing changes, aiming to refresh the experience while laying the groundwork for future updates.
