PUBG MOBILE celebrates its 8th anniversary with major update 4.3 and global community events

PUBG MOBILE, one of the most popular mobile games globally, has launched its highly anticipated update, version 4.3, marking its largest anniversary celebration to date. From March 12 to May 10, 2026, this update introduces new gaming experiences, global collaborations, and exclusive rewards designed to celebrate eight years of community, competition, and evolution.

At the core of this update is the Evolution Thematic Mode, a cosmic transformation of the battlefields of Erangel, Livik, and Miramar, showcasing revamped urban areas, spatio-temporal distortions, dynamic railway mechanics, and new racing gameplay. Players can also take on parachute challenges for rewards, while five new passive skill specializations and an Energetic Ranking System (C, B, A, or S rank) unlock Temporal Vaults with thematic loot, adding depth and customization to the gameplay.

To celebrate its 8th anniversary, PUBG MOBILE introduces the concept “For Every Number 1,” celebrating each player’s journey and milestones. From March 12, players enjoy exclusive early access to “LEAN (PUBG MOBILE 2026 Theme) by OneRepublic.” The update also offers a series of limited-time rewards, including Royale Pass RPA18 (March 15 – May 15) available at a reduced price of 60 UC (previously 720 UC), with total rewards of up to 80,000 UC.

Commemorative events run on specific dates, starting with the Mythic Forge anniversary event on March 12 offering up to 50% discount. This is followed by the special Collaboration scheduled for March 13 and frames and avatars with a March 20 theme. The celebrations peak on March 27, where players can log in to receive exclusive rewards and participate in a special anniversary mission. Players can also collect card series to unlock items related to milestones, including a free upgradeable Splendid Assault Weapon Finish and exclusive Holo Cards.

Beyond the game, PUBG MOBILE hosts large-scale global events. On March 27, the flagship 8th Anniversary Carnival will take place at the Great Pyramid of Giza, Egypt, featuring music, e-sports, and live performances. The same day, Turkey will host a dedicated gala with live broadcasts in major cities and large-scale urban animations. From March 28-29, the “8EYOND THE CIRCLE” Festival in Surabaya, Indonesia, will feature exhibitions, gaming zones, and a drone show attempting to set a record.

Version 4.3 also brings major collaborations, including MrBeast launching on March 12 with an exclusive hoodie, thematic crates, and in-game access to his latest video. Additionally, Jujutsu Kaisen returns from March 13 to April 12, featuring fan-favorite characters like Yuji Itadori and Satoru Gojo, as well as new figures like Ryomen Sukuna and Suguru Geto, with thematic items and rewards to unlock during the game.

Additional updates cover main modes such as the $10 million World of Wonder Creators Program and the WOW DASH Contest with a $100,000 prize pool starting on March 19, along with enhancements for the Classic mode, Metro Royale: Chapter 31, and the Home mode.

As the celebrations draw to a close, PUBG MOBILE will highlight competitive gaming in Africa with the PMGO Africa Finals on May 9 and 10, 2026, where the top teams compete for a $22,000 reward and the opportunity to make their mark on the international stage.
